Design

If you have a simple requirement for a report out of AX, you can pull together AX data and generate simple reports by using Lasernet to select data and fields from AX - Rather than using SSRS to code the entire report.

Integration

With Lasernet, it's possible to integrate the output into Azure to pull and post messages and documents - a service that SSRS doesn't deliver.

Lasernet also integrates seamlessly into other third-party applications using simple properties dialog boxes rather than code. Print

Printer management can be complex and often printers cannot be driven from the cloud solutions. Lasernet covers all these and can drive any printer, even if the printer is not directly accessible from a cloud environment.

Generating barcodes and images along with some complex design requirements in SSRS often results in the printer not being able to interpret it. Lasernet uses the drivers of the printer to ensure all requirements can be covered from driving simple Laser to complex barcode and thermal printers.

Flexibility
